The third European conference on policies in the area of alcohol, with the working title of "Building Capacity for Action" will take place in Barcelona under the auspices of the Slovenian Ministry of Health and Spanish Ministry of Health.
The conference’s main focus of attention will be on implementing the five objectives of the EU strategy to support Member States in reducing alcohol-related harm.
As part of the conference there will be a round table of high representatives of countries and international institutions, who will discuss opportunities and obstacles in implementing the EU strategy.
