The 1st  Heads of Medicines Agencies (HMA) Meeting under Slovenian EU Presidency will be held from January 14-15. The Meeting will have three sessions: HMA human medicines, HMA veterinary medicines and HMA joint session.

 

The Meeting will highlight new activities of Commission, concerning strengthening of the system of pharmacovigilance, activities of HMA Management Board and HMA Working Groups concerning cooperation aimed to protect public health and to better functioning of internal market by proper regulation of pharmaceuticals.

 

The HMA was established with the aim of constituting a forum of discussion and coordination between Member States Competent Authorities for Medicinal Products. The Meeting will contribute  the adopted mission and vision of the HMA.
